Summer 2017 is proud to announce Rob Reckers, Dutch Bronze Medalist, will be joining the staff to share the secrets of his game. Come find out why he is known as a master trapper; 20 minute private lessons for each player will surely make something click!

Lake Forest College is located just 30 miles north of Chicago in one of the most beautiful suburbs on Chicago's North Shore. Lake Forest provides a secure, supportive environment for our campers and Bates College Asst. Coach Kaitlin Fost is delighted to return to Farwell Field. Kaitlin and our impressive staff of college coaches & players are committed to helping campers build sound fundamentals and establish strong game awareness.


About Our Coaches

Kaitlin Fost

2015 is Fosts's first year as a member of the Bates coaching staff. She graduated in 2011 with a BA of Science in Exercise Science from Salisbury University. She has two masters: Masters of Education in Athletic Administration from Goucher College '15 and a Master of Science in Applied Health Physiology from Salisbury '13.

Fost was a Graduate Assistant at Goucher for the 2013 and 2014 seasons. She also served as a USA Field Hockey Olympic Development Head Coach at the Severn School, in Severn MD in 2014. Fost coached for the Atlantic Storm Chasers, a field hockey club in MD. She is a certified Health Fitness Specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine. She has her USA Field Hockey Level II Coaching Accreditation.

During her playing career, Fost was a member of the 2009 NCAA D-III National Champions, a four-year varsity letter winner, a captain in 2010, and an Academic All-American.

Rob Reckers

Rob Reckers is a field hockey player for the Netherlands. He was a member to the Dutch National Team that won the silver medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.

Camp Details

Check in/out: Overnight and Extended Day Campers check in at 12pm on the first day and Check out at 12pm on the last day.

Age & Ability: Camp is open to ages 10-18 of all ability levels.

Meals Provided: Overnight campers- Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner; Extended Day Campers- Lunch and Dinner

Evening Activities: After dinner, campers will be grouped up in teams and scrimmage against one another.

1st Day
12:00pm - Registration
1:00pm-2:00pm Orientation
2:00pm-4:30pm - Afternoon Field Hockey Session
4:30pm-5:00pm - Free Time
5:00pm-5:45pm - Dinner
6:00pm-9:00pm - Night Field Hockey Session/Pick up


2nd and 3rd Days
8:45am - Drop Off at Fields
9:00am-11:30am - Morning Field Hockey Session
11:30am-12:30pm - Lunch
12:30pm-1:30pm - Free Time
1:30pm-4:00pm - Afternoon Field Hockey Session
4:00pm-5:00pm - Free Time
5:00pm-5:45pm - Dinner
6:00pm-9:00pm - Night Field Hockey Session/Pick up


4th Day
8:45am - Drop Off
9:00am - 11:30am - Morning Field Hockey Session
12:00pm - Closing Ceremonies
