Overnight Field Hockey Camps

Enjoy the all-inclusive all-field hockey opportunity for 3 nights & 4 days. This experience includes comfortable dorm room accommodations, all-you-can-eat buffet meals, entertaining evening activities, and 6+ hours of excellent sport field hockey training each day.

Extended Field Hockey Day Camps

This is the ideal choice for the camper who likes to train hard, but head home to their own bed at the end of the day. Traditionally, the daily schedule for this field hockey camp is from 9am – 9pm. Your lunch and dinner are included.

Day Field Hockey Camps

We typically start our session at 9 am and end at 3 pm with check-in at 8:30am on the first day. Campers should be dressed and ready by 8:55am to begin warm-up and bring their own lunch. Spend 4 days of field hockey training time with us and we’ll teach you what you need to know to take your game to the next level!

Half-Day Camps

In an effort to GROW THE GAME, we have put together some programs for boys & girls ages 6 and up. Equipment is available to borrow, so no reason not to join the nation’s effort to get more youth playing field hockey earlier in life!

Top of the Class Camp

Take Advantage of a multitude of NCAA Field Hockey Coaches all being under one roof. Getting to know a variety of teaching styles & personalities in the game of field hockey today is a great opportunity to shape your opinion of becoming a college-bound field hockey athlete. The prospect of continuing your enjoyment of athletics into the next phase of life is what our Top of the Class Camp is all about.

Team Camps

Many teams come to our field hockey camps to further develop their individual field hockey skills, team play and camaraderie. Each Revolution Camp encourages team attendance and will assign appropriate housing and training goals. A team questionnaire is sent to the team coordinator to help our staff prepare a customized curriculum and coaches remain available after the culmination of camp to provide insight and feedback to reach your season’s goals.

RISE Camps

The Revolution Rise Camp—model combines our traditional focus on the fundamentals of the sport with a unique and intense experience where we challenge the athlete to play, think and commit to being a part of a team. Whether you come with your high school team, club or as an individual, you will be assigned to a field hockey team who will live together, team-build together, grow together and compete to win together.

With over 18 hours of structured field time, including a mixture skill development lessons, field hockey drills & scrimmaging galore. The format will give each team a plethora of 7-aside & 11-aside games and play offs.

CORE Camps

Specialized instruction for maximum improvement: Limited to 50 Players

The program is designed to help talented players take their game to the next level.  Led by Katharine DeLorenzo, Head Coach of 2015 NCAA National Champions Middlebury College, the camp is designed to provide a high level of individualized instruction and feedback.  With private assessments, one-on-one goal setting meetings with staff, and customized positional coaching.

Southern Exposure

The Southern Exposure brings together an elite group of NCAA coaches and aspiring athletes. Together, we explore the steps necessary for the next phase: being a college athlete. Experience what recruiting should be; meet and enjoy the coaches and their style, demos with Coaches, Admissions Panels, Strength & Conditioning Workouts all while playing through a creative and fun curriculum with future conference peers.

Each Revolution Field Hockey Camp offers specialized goal keeper instructions. Each day begins with individual skills and advances to live play and shots. Stations, drills, and small games teach the following.

USFHA PARTNER CAMP

The Revolution Field Hockey Camps are approved Partner Camps by the United States Field Hockey Association. Our camps meet the USFHA standards, set to ensure camper growth. Our field hockey camp directors are qualified to make player recommendations into the USFHA Futures Program.

Approximately 5% of the campers can be can be recommended into the 2016 Futures Program through our sports camps. Each interested camper is evaluated throughout the entire field hockey camp and announcements are made at camp graduation.

NFHCA SPONSORED CAMP

The Revolution Field Hockey Camps are sponsored by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA). The NFHCA aims to stimulate the development of quality leadership for field hockey programs, and recognizes professional contributions to the sport such as our field hockey training camps. Revolution Field Hockey is a proud member of the NFHCA along with 100% of our camp directors. NFHCA Members are coaches who are actively engaged in coaching field hockey at four-year colleges and universities, club programs, high schools and junior high schools.

SKILL GROUPING

The application questions help generate initial skill groupings & scrimmage teams so we can begin training immediately. After the first session our staff will make modifications based on performance and camper feedback.

Camp directors will make all necessary adjustments to best accomplish development and enjoyment for all field hockey campers involved. Each staff person is an advocate for your camper to ensure she has the best experience. Our staff prides themselves on being easy to talk to and supportive both on and off the field.

All skill levels are welcome. Most Revolution Field Hockey Camps are for ages 10 – 18, but some cater to a high school demographic and others offer half-day options for 6 – 10 year olds.  Our field hockey camps ages are outlined on each camp’s specific page. Specific goalie training is offered at each camp location. Boys are also welcome at most camp locations.
