Director's Bio
Babson College Head Field Hockey Coach Julie Ryan has been at the helm of the program for four seasons and compiled a 52-30 record. Coach Ryan has posted
winning seasons with every team she has coached over the past 9 years. Julie began her coaching career as the Yale University Assistant Coach and then went
on to be the Assistant Coach for Division III powerhouse Springfield College and Division I Nationally Ranked Boston College, bringing success along with her each
step of the way. Yale won the Div I ECAC Tournament, Springfield College won the NEWMAC Conference and Boston College finished ranked #16 in the nation.
Julie graduated from Quinnipiac University as four-year letter winner in field hockey. As a senior she earned several honors including; first team Mid-East Regional All-American, Mid-East Regional Academic All-American, NFHCA Senior All-Star, Northeast Conference First Team and Northeast Conference Player of the Year. Julie also led the squad to their first-ever NCAA appearance. For these outstanding efforts, Quinnipiac selected her as the Female Athlete of the Year.
Canton High School Varsity Field Hockey Coach Fior Griffin will be part of the all-star staff at our Canton camp this summer. Fior received numerous accolades during her collegiate career at Northeastern University including: 2nd team All-American (2002), America East Defensive Player of the Year (2002), and a three-time Northeast Region All-American (2000-2002). Fior played high school field hockey for Watertown (CT) High School and earned All-State honors in 1997 and 1998.
