Revolution Field Hockey & Victory Sports Tours are offering you the journey of a lifetime - Hockey Camp in Argentina! This all-inclusive tour in Buenos Aires offers the perfect balance of training, site-seeing, community service and fun! For eleven days, you will enjoy top training facilities, exciting cultural adventures and the opportunity to grow as an athlete and a person.

Curriculum Director, Claudio "Lalo" Junquet is a former member of the Argentine Men's National Team, an experienced national team coach and the current hockey director at one of Argentina's most prestigious clubs. Lalo be joined by high level Argentine instructors and offer six hours of training daily over four days plus one match. Your instructors will help you develop the strategy and skills you need to take your game to the next level. Argentina is home to the 2008 Beijing Olympic Bronze Medalists and your game will benefit from their hockey knowledge and expertise.

The tour is ideal for high school ages (14-19) who belong to a field hockey club or team and have the goal to get better and have fun! In addition to your time on the turf, we have planned historical tours, a premier league soccer match, museum visits, shopping, a tango dinner show and a youth community center outing.

The tour schedule is highly structured. Chaperones will include NCAA and high school field hockey coaches + parents. Our Victory tour manager will guide our group throughout each of our daily activities.

Your Argentine trainers:

Claudio "Lalo" Junquet - Played on the Argentine Men's National Team and has been a long-time coach with several Argentine National Teams. Currently the hockey director at one of Argentina's most prestigious clubs, Club Atletico San Isidro, with 30 girls/women's teams under his management, Lalo has extensive experience in the design and implementation of hockey training programs, including at the CENARD (Argentine National High-Performance Training Center.

Mariana "Donna" Rossi, Bronze Medalist with the Argentine National Hockey Team at 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Rodolfo Schmidt, Argentine Men's National Team goalkeeper at the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics, instructing a visiting goalie.

Mery Minici who plays in the super elite 14-team "Primera A" Buenos Aires hockey league where 15 of the 20 Argentine national team players are drawn from.

** Traveling and coaching along side our group NCAA and high school field hockey coaches. Our Victory tour manager will guide our group throughout each of our daily activities.

Tue NEW YORK - BUENOS AIRES

Fly overnight to Buenos Aires via major international scheduled airline. Dinner and breakfast served aloft.

Wed BUENOS AIRES

9:00am Arrive at Buenos Aires' Ezeiza International Airport. Greeting by your highly-qualified Victory Sports Tours' Tour Manager.

10:00am - 1:00pm City Sightseeing Tour Three-hour city sightseeing tour on your comfortable motorcoach giving you an overview of Buenos Aires' culture and history as seen through its neighborhoods and historical landmarks.

1:00pm City Tour ends at your Hotel.

2:00pm Explore Santa Fe Avenue featuring many shops and sidewalk cafes for lunch on your own. Choose one of the informal "parilla" grill restaurants for a delicious beef or chicken barbecue lunch or lighter fare at another eatery.

7:00pm Welcome Dinner at El Establo typical Argentine barbecue restaurant with the best beef you will ever eat! (chicken and vegetarian options available).

Thu BUENOS AIRES

Fri BUENOS AIRES

8:00am - 2:00pm HOCKEY TRAINING DAY # 2

4:00pm - 7:00pm "Parks Tour" including the modern MALBA Latin American Art Museum, the most popular museum in Buenos Aires, plus the delightful and colorful Japanese Gardens, and the Evita Peron Museum dedicated to this charismatic woman, one of the most important Argentine historical figures.

7:30pm Evening meal at a local restaurant nearby to the hotel

Sat- BUENOS AIRES

7:00am - 10:00am Breakfast at Hotel.

10:30am - 5:30pm "Gaucho Pampas" - Estancia Santa Susan Day-trip to an authentic Argentine estancia (ranch), located just outside Buenos Aires. Highlight of the day is the traditional Argentine "asado" (barbecue). While you enjoy the meal, you will be entertained by "gauchos" (cowboys) dressed in typical garb performing traditional folk songs and dances. Top off the day with the gauchos thrilling you with their horse-riding & roping skills!

7:30pm Evening meal at a local restaurant nearby to the hotel.

Sun- BUENOS AIRES

7:00am - Breakfast at Hotel.

11:00am 2:30am - Great day for shopping! On weekends venture to the Recoleta Flea Market for lots of bargains on hand-made leather and other goods at one of the hundreds of stalls staffed by the artisans themselves.

5:00pm Argentine Premier League Soccer Experience the passion and excitement of Argentine professional football (soccer). Select games are available each week, usually matches including one of the "Top Five" teams in Argentina - Boca Juniors, River Plate, Independiente, Racing, & San Lorenzo.

8:30pm Evening meal at a local restaurant nearby to the hotel.

Mon BUENOS AIRES

7:00am Breakfast at Hotel.

8:00am - HOCKEY TRAINING DAY # 3

2:00pm- Visit Calle Florida, the 10-block long pedestrian shopping street in the heart of downtown Buenos Aires. There is an unending variety of shops featuring some of the best quality goods you will come across during your entire trip. Typical Argentine items of interest include jackets, shoes, boots, pants, wallets, purses, gloves, etc., basically anything made out of leather. "Florida" has many cafes and restaurants available for lunch.

7:30pm Evening meal at a local restaurant nearby to the hotel.

Tue- BUENOS AIRES

7:00am Breakfast at Hotel.

8:00am - 2:00pm HOCKEY TRAINING DAY # 4

4:00pm Transfer to La Boca, the colorful neighborhood that was home to newly-arrived immigrants in the late 1800s. Walk along the Caminito pedestrian street, flanked by brightly-painted "conventillo" communal homes, and view the attractive works of the many street artists. Maybe buy a painting or two to take home to decorate your room ! Continue to San Telmo, Buenos Aires' original settlement and famous as birthplace of the Tango, where you will enjoy the neighborhood's plazas, antique markets, and architectural landmarks.

8:30pm Tango Dinner Show Enjoy one of Buenos Aires' cozy and elegant dinner theatres, reminiscent of the early 20th-century. Dine as you are entertained by perfectly-groomed and fashionably- attired Tango dancers performing the traditional dance with its distinctive dramatic movements. A wonderful musical experience!

Wed- BUENOS AIRES

7:00am- 9:30am Breakfast at Hotel.

10:00am Depart to the Tigre River Delta, about 20 miles north of Buenos Aires.

11:30am Board your comfortable boat for a leisurely 45-minute cruise through the islands of this unusual natural river delta. Tigre was once the summer retreat of Buenos Aires' elite with several landmark structures from that elegant era still surviving.

1:00pm Free time for shopping in the Mercado de Frutos.

2:30pm Board your private motorcoach for your transfer back to Buenos Aires.

5:30pm Evening meal at a local restaurant nearby to the hotel.

8:00pm "FRIENDLY" MATCH vs. LOCAL HOCKEY TEAM Play a suitably-matched school or club team and get a taste of hockey Argentina-style!

10:00pm Aftermatch Mini-Party with the opposing team and coaches with food & refreshments served.

Thu- BUENOS AIRES - FLIGHTS

7:00am- 10:30am Breakfast at Hotel.

11:00am Check out of Hotel.

12:00pm Enjoy your Farewell Lunch at a fine restaurant such as El Palacio de la Papa Frita "parilla" grill (or similar). Toast the conclusion of a great trip!

2:30pm Free time to explore Buenos Aires for last-minute shopping, sightseeing or just plain relaxing by a sidewalk café !

4:30pm Transfer by your private motorcoach to Ezeiza International Airport for your return flight home.

8:30pm Relax and sleep during your overnight flight. Dinner and breakfast served aloft.

Fri- NEW YORK

6:00am Arrive back in the USA this morning. Your South American Field Hockey Adventure comes to a close with great memories to cherish for a lifetime !
