Director's Bio

Kevin Kelly entered his first season as head coach of the Manhattanville field hockey program in 2008. Prior to joining the Valiants, Coach Kelly was the Head Coach of Rye High School for 30 years. He experienced unparalleled success at the school, posting a career record of 391-56-9 (.867), and built a resume that includes four New York State championships, five regional titles and nearly 20 league championships. Kevin was a three-time Section 1 Coach of the Year and in his final season was named the 2007 Journal News Coach of the Year. Coach Kelly, whose Rye program was named the "Team of the Decade" by New York State, finished his high school career with the second-highest win total among active New York coaches.
