Sacred Heart University is centrally located in Southern Connecticut, just an hour north of New York City. Campers will enjoy the beautiful turf at Alumni Field on Sacred Heart's campus.
Sacred Heart University Head Coach Chris Blais is in her eighth year with the Pioneer field hockey program. The 2007 team followed up the 2005 NEC conference championship with two back to back trips to the NEC postseason, making this their sixth straight appearance.
The 2006 squad swept the NEC postseason honors including; Player of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and Coach of the Year.
The 1995 Penn State graduate was an NCAA All-American, a 3x All-Big Ten Academic-Athletic honoree and the recipient of the Academic-Athletic Achievement Award. Chris has coached at the College Open Camp, Pennsylvania Pride of the United Airlines Summer League and the USFHA B Camp.
