Director's Bio

Andrew Griffiths, Lafayette College Head Coach, will return for the 7th summer as director of this camp. Coach Griffiths took over for the Leopards in 2007 and led them to the most wins in program history in 2008. The 2008 team earned a #2 seed in the Patriot League and six members of the team earned conference honors.

Prior to joining the Lafayette coaching family, Andrew was the Associate Head Coach at Boston College where he led the team to its highest ranking ever in the NFHCA poll at #4. He was an Assistant Coach at the University of Maryland from 1998 to 2004 and helped the Terps to a 133-30 record, winning the ACC Championship four times and the national title once in 1999.

Coach Griffiths remains involved at the national level as the Assistant Head Coach of the U-21 National Women’s Team. Andrew spent twelve years playing for Team Canada, competing in 214 international games, including the 2000 Sydney Olympics, two World Cups and three Pan-American Games.

Jennifer Stone '04 returned to Lafayette to begin her coaching career as the Assistant Coach in '07. The Newton, Pa. native graduated with degrees in Business & Economics and Art. Stone is third in the Leopard record books for career points (135) and career goals (51) and second in career assists (33) after completing her final season as team captain.

At the end of her senior year, Stone was named to the All-American Second-Team and received the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year award. She was also named to the NFHCA Mideast All-Region First-Team and was chosen to play in the NFHCA Senior North/South All-Star Game. Stone was also recognized by the Lehigh Valley Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women, receiving their Field Hockey Student-Athlete of the Year Award.
