Julie Ryan, Babson College Head Field Hockey Coach will direct this camp. In her first two seasons with Babson College, she has compiled a 25 -16 record with her team capturing the 2007 NEWMAC regular season title after a perfect 8-0 record. Coach Ryan has posted winning seasons with every team she has coached over the past 7 years.
From 2002-04, Julie began her coaching career as the Yale University Assistant Coach and then went on to be the Assistant Coach for Division III powerhouse Springfield College and Division I Nationally Ranked Boston College, bringing success along with her each step of the way. Yale won the Div I ECAC Tournament, Springfield College won the NEWMAC Conference and Boston College finished their inaugural year in the highly competitive Atlantic Coast Conference ranked #16 in the nation, qualifying for the NCAA tournament.
Julie graduated from Quinnipiac University as four-year letter winner in field hockey. As a senior she earned several honors including; first team Mid-East Regional All-American, Mid-East Regional Academic All-American, NFHCA Senior All-Star, Northeast Conference First Team and Northeast Conference Player of the Year. Julie also led the squad to their first-ever NCAA appearance. For these outstanding efforts, Quinnipiac selected her as the Female Athlete of the Year.
Coach Ryan is currently a head coach in the USFHA Futures Program, where she has been involved for 6 years. She also spent time as an assistant coach for the Cape Cod Classic Super Sophs program, where she helped select the top freshman and sophomores across Cape Cod. This summer marks Ryan’s seventh season as a Revolution Field Hockey Camp Director.
