Director's Bio

Dani Ryder, Tufts University Assistant Coach will direct this Revolution Field Hockey camp. Dani joined the Jumbos in 2008 and was an integral part of the teams undefeated regular season record. The squad advanced to the NCAA Div III Tournament finishing in the final round.

Coach Ryder was a 4-year varsity starting goalkeeper for Stonehill College.  She is honored for most saves in a season and in a career in Stonehill’s record books.  She was also the top goaltender in the NE-10 Conference for two years in a row in 2006 and 2007 in game shutouts.  In total she had 28 career shutouts, the best in school history.  Dani was awarded All-Academic, All-Conference and North/South Senior All-Star Team honors.

Joining Dani is Susie Whelan, 4 year starter at Holy Cross.  In 2006 National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I All-New England Region second team. Whelan tied for second nationally with three penalty strokes, and is tied for fifth all-time at Holy Cross with 20 career assists. In 2005, Whelan was named to the All-Patriot League second team.  For the past two years at Holy Cross she was the goalie coach.  For both years her keeper got Goalie of the Year for the Patriot league.
