Co-directing this camp is Deering HS JV Head Coach and Varsity Asst coach Suzanne Parks. Parks, a native of Brewer, Maine, has been involved in field hockey for years. She played for Brewer HS and played four years of collegiate field hockey at Bentley College. Parks has guided the Deering HS JV squad to an impressive record during the past two seasons, winning all but two games.
In the offseason, Suzanne coaches and manages Katahdin, an elite indoor travel club, which has produced two of the State’s Junior Olympic team members. She is an umpire at the National Festival, the world's largest amateur field hockey event and she coaches in the USFHA Futures program. As the co-commissioner & organizer for the Maine Games she has led her team to two Gold Medal victories since the sports inaugural year in 2006.
Kristina Lane, Head Coach for Greely High School and the Kathadin Field Hockey Goalie Coach will take over as Head Director of the Revolution Field Hockey Camp. Coach Lane is an alumni of Belfast High School and played on the Maine Event Field Hockey Team for 3 years. After High School, Kristina was recruited to play for the powerhouse Springfield College and was a 4yr starter for the squad.
Liz Koharian is the Varsity Assistant and Head J.V Coach of Falmouth High School. Coach Koharian is involved at every level of the game in Maine, as the coach of the freshman and JV squads at Portland High School, the USFHA Futures Program and she most recently organized the 1st ever field hockey competition at the Maine Games in '06, where her team took the bronze medal. Liz also coaches Indoor & Outdoor Track at Portland High School, plays on the women’s field hockey league in Maine and referees youth games.
Prior to coming back to Maine, Coach Koharian got her experience in the UK as Women’s Head Coach at the University of Bradford, West Yorkshire. She also played for the University of Bradford’s field hockey team. During her undergraduate years, Liz was a dual athlete at University of Southern Maine in both field hockey and cross-country.
